Marie Claire is a women's monthly magazine distributed internationally. The text on the magazine is always the same on each issue but just a different colour to go with the colou scheme og that issue. The title is at the top to attract the readers and it is in a bright colour. There is sub-headings on the front cover with parts of the text in colour. This gets the readers attention and makes them want to read on and find about the story. The contents page becomes useful then because when the readers search for the story they can see the pictures on the page, which will in turn make them want to read the rest of the magazine. The image takes up the whole magazine to attract the raeder, it also has a different celebrity on the front cover of each issue, as readers want to find out about celebrity lives and see what goes on behind closed doors. The images is usually a mid-shot a close shot or a long shot. The magazine always has bold text in the middle of the cover to tell the reader what the issue is about that time.
