The target audience for the Secondary magazine and the Elle magazine are easy to identify from the way the front cover has been designed. The secondary magazine is aimed at teachers working in secondary schools, whereas Elle magazine is aimed at women who are from the age of 20-45 and who are interested in fashion. The text on the secondary magazine is quite plain and is always in the same colour red which is suitable for the target audience. The image on Secondary magazine reflects the target audience as it is a picture of two pupils at a secondary school. The image of the two pupils on the front cover refers to what the issue is going to be about, the stories are always relevant to teachers lives which again makes it suitable for the audience. The colour of the secondary magazine is never in bright eye catching colours because it has a running theme of a green title and the stories always printed in red. The text is in this colour because the audience associate the magazine with these colours. However the text on Elle mgazine is always in bright colours to attract their target audience. The title for Elle is always placed at the top and it changes colour each issue to reflect the outfit on the front cover. The colour is always in really vibrant, feminie covers to attract their female audience. They always have stories around the image on the front cover what relate to their audience. Some of the stories are in bold and these are the stories which are most likely to attract the readers, the issue is also put in bright colurs to tell the reader what the magazine is about. The image on the front cover always has a celebrity on it as they know the readers want to know what is going on in the personal lives of celebrities. The image always takes up most of the front cover, this draws your attention in and with it being a celebrity on the front cover it makes you want to but the magazine. The front cover of each magazine is specifically designed with the target audience in mind.
